Back to the Grind

Back to school and back to weekend classes, so the loom sits - still partially threaded. I have been able to finish one sleeve on Whitby and I'm heading down the other.

I ended up spinning all the tussah on one bobbin

and I'll ply it with some lovely purple corriedale.

I should have enough for a scarf and I have some green and purple beads that would look cool with it.

  5. I love the Whitby. I'm fascinated by your trapeze! I want to become a weaver. I have all the toys, things just aren't set up in a comfortable space yet. Since DS2 has moved into his own home, I plan to turn his room into a studio.

  6. Char, Whitby is coming along nicely. I've been away for a while so I'm playing catch up. The Tussah looks really good...makes me want to pull mine out of hiding and spin some up. I'm so glad you're enjoying it.
I quickly glanced at your loom "tie up"...I will have to get a cup of tea and get caught up with that post...looks intriguing.
